The Flaming Gorge in Utah
Here's another cowboy in Wyoming

A real cowboy in Wyoming

A wind "farm" in Wyoming

Entering our 6th state on the trip, Colorado, Utah, Arizona, Nevada, California, and Wyoming!

Back in the Rocky Mountains in Colorado, with the Colorado, River beside the interstate highway.

I was surprised to see it made of bricks

A grove of Aspen trees. They usually grow after a fire in the area.

I spotted this one roaming around the parking lot.

Dinosaur, Colorado

I didn't know they came in pink, I wonder if seeing a pink dinosaur is like seeing a pink elephant.

The Flaming Gorge Dam

Everything is connected with Dinosaurs

Greetings,

Today we drove from Salt Lake City to Denver. We headed out early and drove to Park City, Utah for a nice breakfast. This was home to some of the ski events during the 2002 Winter Olympics. Then we headed east on I-80 into Wyoming. When we reached Fort Bridger, Wyoming we headed off the interstate towards Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area and the Flaming Gorge Dam.

After seeing this area we headed south towards Vernal, Utah and the Dinosaur National Momument. From here we headed into Colorado and drove through the town of Dinosaur, Colorado. Then we headed south to I-70 where we finally were backtracking to Denver.

I stayed with the Stanforths and said good bye to Daniel and Linda.
