Greetings,
Today we left our hotel at San Simone in the morning and drove about 5 miles to the Hearst Castle. This mansion was built high on a hill over looking the Pacific. It was built by William Randolph Hearst the newspaper mogel. The castle was donated to the State of California in 1957. Many Hollywood stars were invited to the castle over the years.
After we visited the Hearst Castle we drove up the coast on Highway 1 towards San Jose. We saw sea lions and beautiful coastline. Then we drove to downtown San Jose to spend three nights.
