Two More Days of Grading

Today was a day filled with grading essays but the end is in site. Remember we have over 160,000 booklets with three essays each. Not everyone gets them all finished but still each booklet is reviewed and graded three times. So that is about 1/2 million times. We have about 860 graders. So you can tell we stay busy. We grade 7 days in row with no days off. From 8AM to 5:15 pm with 1 hour 15 minutes for lunch (mainly because we have to walk so far to eat). We also have 2 fifteen breaks. It is somewhat like crossing summer camp with a Russian gulag.

Anyway soon all of us with make our way home. We people here they say from all 50 states and some foriegn countries. For example today I ate lunch with a guys from New York state, Texas, and California.

Tuesday I should make my way south to the Denver area and Wednesday I head west and too the mountains. Then on to the Pacific!
